Because some of the users of our site do not have e-mail addresses, you will now be asked for your username when logging in. This will be the same as your e-mail address. Next week you’ll be able to change your username if you are already signed up or you will be able to choose a username when you register for the reunion and get access to the Web site as well.
Usernames instead of e-mail addresses

We both have the same e-mail address!
Posted February 1, 2008 by blair_oneCategories: Easier, Log in
Previously the Web site didn’t like it if two people signed up using the same e-mail address. It let you do it, but you would only see one person’s name when you signed in using either combination of e-mail address and password.
From 1 Feb 2008 you can sign in using the same e-mail address as someone else and the Web site will recognise you correctly.

You can also click the ‘Forgot password’ link on log in page which will send a reminder to the address you used to register.
Send event reminders
Posted April 13, 2007 by blair_oneCategories: New features and fixes
Era reps and chapter chairs can send reminders for events they have posted. Just go to Dashboard > select ‘Events’ from the menu. Events that haven’t already happened have a ‘Send reminder’ link next to them. Click the link for the event you want to send a reminder for. Customise the reminder or just click ‘Send reminder’ and it’s all done. Usually you won’t need to edit the reminder at all unless there has been a last minute change.

What happened to my contact details?
Posted February 8, 2007 by blair_oneCategories: Easier, New features and fixes, Uncategorized
You can no longer see anyone’s contact details on their profile page. We’re just cooking up a feature that will let you add other members as your friends and then you can send them messages. That way you only hear from your mates and no one else can bug you
